SeniorFit is the wellness component of Healthcare Therapy Services, Inc. SeniorFit is one of the most comprehensive wellness programs in our industry. Our exercise science guru and therapy team have joined together to produce a program specifically designed to engage our older clients in fitness measures to improve their quality of life.

Our programs focus on four vital pieces of physical wellness. We call them the Core Four:

Walking alone will not build muscle or increase bone density, while resistance training will not improve flexibility-which is an important attribute to reducing fall risk. It is important to engage all of these pieces in order to develop a successful fitness regimen for your residents.

SeniorFit is effective, fun and socially engaging. Our clients are not only rehabilitating with us in therapy, but also, they are staying independent for longer by building muscle, bone density and improving their heart and lung health. The days of the VHS tape are over. Every BODY in your building can benefit from SeniorFit!

Monitoring Progress

Each person receives their own SeniorFit assessment. Based on the initial wellness assessment, a baseline is established to initiate a program at their fitness level while monitoring progress and adjusting program design every 8-12 weeks.
