Physical Therapist Assistant – Part-Time – Consistent Weekends – Louisville, KY

Due to caseload increase, we are looking for a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to work  in our therapy department located in Louisville, KY on consistent Saturdays and Sundays. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following:

• Provides Physical Therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in accordance with state regulations and company policies, to patients.
• Assists the Physical Therapist in the evaluation process as needed or directed.
• Assists the Physical Therapist in identifying a problem list, short-term goals, long term goals and treatment plan.
• Assists in the selection of Physical Therapy techniques/media and in the sequence of activities, adapts techniques/media as indicated by patient performance and following consultation with the Physical Therapist. 
• Monitors patient’s response to intervention and consults with Physical Therapist if modification is indicated.
• Assists in establishing and modifying individual patient schedules in conjunction with the Physical Therapist and other team members.

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a therapist or clinical experience as a new graduate. 
• Current State Licensure or temporary licensure.
• Regular Attendance.
